30 weeks down 10 to go.... that is only 70 days... 70?????!!!!!!!!!!!

How big is baby:  30 a large cucumber or a cabbage
Total weight change:  I am up 2 pounds from starting weight, 12 including what I lost and gained back
Symptoms: Heart burn is getting bad, a couple days of swollen feet.
Maternity clothes: Yes please, it is like wearing jammies all day!
Stretch marks: only what I started with
Sleep: Ahhh sleep, I love you so much!
Best moment of this week: E feeling her kick! Watching my belly move as she has a dance party! Oh and finishing painting the nursery today!
Miss anything: Not peeing all the time!
Movement: Oh my gosh... so much. I can feel her and see her so much more now that she moved. It is so strange to feel her up  higher!
Food cravings: I just love fruit still!
Food Aversions: Chicken....
Sex: Girl!
Labor signs: no way again
Belly button in or out: innie but looks like it is stretching a bit!
Looking forward to: my appt on Tuesday to hear her again! We also have a newborn class this Thursday so that will be interesting!

29 weeks (a little late)

So I am actually 29 w 2 d.... but still.... 
How big is baby:  29 butternut squash
Total weight change:   I am +1 from starting weight! woot!
Symptoms: hungry all the time and peeing a lot.... tiring easily....
Maternity clothes: Pretty much all the time... some are still a little baggy

Sleep: Ahhh sleep, I love you so much!
Best moment of this week:This might be a best moment for my next post because it just happened tonight... But E finally got to feel her. She was going nutso so I had him put his hand on my belly and after a bit he felt her, he jumped at first... but went back for more. It was so cute!
She also flipped from Transverse to I assume where she should be. That happened Sunday night, I guess she was feeling cramped after all my bending to paint! So my bump has shifted and is so strange to get used to!

 Painting the nursery!! well 2 walls!! It is small so there was some furniture shuffling happening!
I picked up the paint on Sunday and did 2 of the purple walls. 
Need E to move his desk around so I can do the last purple wall and then more moving to do the green wall. I love the purple... 
I have just gone and sat in there a couple times. Even E loves it!!

Dating (back in the day).... More specifically strange dates...

So this came up from a group I am a part of... What is your strangest date...
Welllllll online dating left me with quite a few of those stories! So I thought to change it up from being all baby all the time I would share a bit of my crazy dating history!
Online dating eventually worked out cuz that is how I met hubster!!!

But I did have one in high school as well...
My brother is a year older than me so my senior year he was in college and his suite mate in the dorms was HOT so I spent a bit of time visiting my brother (we are really close so this was not super odd). At some point the suite mate and I exchanged numbers and started chatting a bit and decided to go on a date. 

My parents didn't really think this guy was all that great so we met up somewhere and drove down to a nearby town that has lots of shops and restaurants. He decided we should pretend to be french tourists. He was hot so I played along. We had a blast and people thought we were drunk.

As the night wound down we got back to where we had met and sat awkwardly in the car for a bit before he leaned over to kiss me... Like with his teeth... It was all teeth and hurt...
Dude you are so hot how do you not know how to kiss?
So we start over all nice for a minute and then it is back to all teeth again... That ruined it for me!
We chatted when I saw him but that was all. And my brother was soooo pissed when he found out we went on a date!

That one wasn't super funny but memorable!

After my boyfriend of 6 years and I broke up and taking a break from dating I tested the waters of online dating... Wow! There are some crazies out there!

Strangest date - possibly!
I met this guy on match.com we chatted a bit and talked about all kinds of randomness. Well at some point I said something about a coworker getting flowers and how I never had. He stalked me enough to find out where I worked and sent me flowers to my work. We had only emailed at this point, it was a GIANT arrangement. I got a creep vibe but also felt bad so agreed to go on a date with him.
So must have memorized all the stuff I had put on my profile like favorite song etc... I was running late so just told him to pick me up at my house. So he did and made sure I noticed he was wearing my favorite color, we got in his truck and he had put my favorite song on a CD on repeat.
We went to pick apples or something and came back to my house and I had chili in the crockpot which he gushed about being the best he ever ate and then he snuggled up to me on my couch (head on shoulder his feet tucked up on my couch) and asked to look through my photo albums because he wanted to see me when I was younger... It took forever for me to get him out of my house. My BFF kept calling to check on me and see if he was still there or not!
He emailed me as soon as he got home about me being "the one" and it being the best date he had ever been on.
I emailed him that night that things were not going to work out between us... I think he was crushed.

Another guy... we actually had 2 dates. Although I should have called it quits after the first one!
We had talked for a while and it seemed had a bit in common. So we decided to get together and hang out.
I was living at a house with lake access so we decided to hang out for a bit there and go swimming. Once we set up the plan he decided to tell me that Oh wait, not only did he not have a car, he also didn't have a license because he lost it from a DUI... And he lived a half hour away.
Well silly me decided I would go pick him up. We actually had a good time hanging out for a while and I took him back home (well his moms house cuz since he couldn't drive he also didn't have a job and therefore had to move back in with his mom) We talked in the driveway for a bit and had a kiss or two...
We kept talking and decided to go on a second date. To the renaissance festival... he still couldn't drive, so I had to drive 30 mins to pick him up and then from his place 2 hours to the festival. On the way he had me stop at an ATM so he could get money. Awesome, I suppose he is paying if he is getting money. We got to the gate to pay to get in and he bought one ticket... and then looked at me... OKAYYYYY guess I am paying for myself! and then he got a second ticket, I must have made my bitch face!
We walked around and were having an okay time. It was super super hot that day so we sat down to watch the joust. And he got up and bought a gatorade and came back and chugged the whole thing while I watched... Then asked if I wanted a drink. I told him no I was good...
We finally made it back to his apartment (he had moved) and he wanted me to see the place so I went in and got the tour. Which he made sure ended in his bedroom where he tried to put the moves on me. I shot him down.
We talked for a few more days after. And I decided things were not going to work and told him so.
The guy lost his shit... blasting me over email about leading him on and giving him the wrong impression and what a bitch I am, why would I go on a second date if I knew it was going no where etc...
The worst part... A few months later I went back to school for my MBA, and he was also taking classes there so I saw him in the hall ALLL the time. I got the death stare for a while from him.
But I didn't care because while he was doing that I was happily dating someone new who was mostly normal!

28 weeks! Third Tri!

How big is baby:  28 Eggplant
Total weight change:  Ummm so this morning I was only a half pound down from my starting weight! (still the same as last week)
Symptoms: we got a new mattress so sleep has been so much better. My asthma has been decent and tiring easily
Maternity clothes: Maternity clothes are so comfy, but they tend to fall down since I don't have much of a bump to hold them up so I am having to wear just a few things.
Stretch marks: only what I started with
Sleep: Ahhh sleep, I love you so much!
Best moment of this week: deciding on paint colors! wooo!! And  buying the fabric for my mom to make the quilt.
Miss anything: Not peeing all the time!
Movement: yes! But every time I think maybe E will be able to feel it and go to put my had there she stops... such a stinker!
Food cravings: I just love fruit still!
Food Aversions: Protein...I have to force myself to eat meat.

27 weeks, 91 days left, 3rd tri... WTF?

Like seriously only 3 months to go... 91 days... there will be a baby in the house in 3 months... Cue panic attack!

Not really but holy crap!!

Total weight change:  Ummm so this morning I was only a half pound down from my starting weight! (still the same as last week)
Symptoms: just tiring easily... but feeling decent other than that.
Maternity clothes: Maternity clothes are so comfy, but they tend to fall down since I don't have much of a bump to hold them up so I am having to wear just a few things.
Stretch marks: only what I started with
Sleep: Ahhh sleep, I love you so much!
Best moment of this week: E was nesting yesterday... I went to do a 5k (walking) and came home and he had mostly cleared out the office and put together the rest of the dresser! So the dresser is in there, the empty file cabinet and his desk... quite a nursery! But his desk can stay there for a while longer before I boot him out. Maybe the start of August, but I will paint and get the rest set up in there around the desk!

I have been outed at work!

I made it to 26 weeks 3 days before being outed...
It was fun while it lasted!
Before yesterday my boss knew along with 4 others in my office and 2 in another office.
Yesterday my coworker and I were talking about a get together at her house over the weekend with someone and it came up that I was the sober one at the party.
Later in the day i am walking back to my desk and the other person is walking past me and she is really checking me out. She walks past my desk and then comes back after I sit down and stops for a second before she leans in real close and whispers "are you pregnant" I turned and smiled and said "I might be" she told me she figured after the conversation about me not drinking. She was so cute after that and called me once to ask boy or girl and emailed me another time about something else.

I had already decided if no one had asked this week I was going to out myself next week. I wasn't hiding the bump but I also was not wearing more fitted shirts to work. But this week baby girl has decided to start showing herself.

At lunch today we were talking and I don't even know what was said but the president was in there and I got a funny look from him. Well a couple hours later I was up talking to my coworker and he had come out of his office and got a good profile look at me and said "Umm Is that a bump?" so I said "I don't know do you think you see a bump?" so he asked again "is there a bump?" so I said "well there just might be a bump there!" He was all excited. So of course the next question came out... When are you due... his face when I said September 7 was priceless!
So I told my boss that I guess my secret was out, he had been asking me weekly if it was still a secret, and every week I told him until someone asks.

So my coworker later told me that right after lunch the president had asked her if I was pregnant and she told him that he needed to ask me. And I guess earlier this week my boss had told her that I wasn't going to be able to keep it a secret much longer because I was starting to show.

The president must have sent a text to the HR director because I had gone to get more water. And she came up the hall and saw me and started staring right at my belly. And then asked if I had a bump and reached out to touch me! I backed up so she couldn't and answered her question. Which she then went around the entire office telling EVERYONE! I guess that is one way to get the news out!

Everyone was in shock when I told them the due date and kept asking me where I was hiding the baby. Which for 26 weeks I should be showing more but little girl is chillin down low!

Symptoms: Get tired easily, asthma issues... bloated like no other the last couple days, a couple days of feet swelling
Maternity clothes: Ummm a number of days I wore Mat clothes this week. So comfy but they slide down without the belly... but the belly is starting to show!
Stretch marks: only what I started with
Sleep: Ahhh sleep, I love you so much!
Best moment of this week: We registered!!!!! Yay!!!!!!! I finally feel like we are getting somewhere!
Miss anything: liking to eat protein, sneeze without pain and to be able to brush my teeth without gagging and dry heaves (same as forever!)
Movement: Feeling her more. a few outside thunks but still nothing enough for E to feel.
Food cravings: I just love fruit still!

Looking forward to: Cleaning more of the office out! I don't know about looking forward to but doing Glucose test sometime in the next 2 weeks. I just need to pick a day and drive to the lab and drink the stuff on the way there(I already have the stuff) probably will be next week since this week sucks monkey balls at work
Milestones: Next week is 3rd tri!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy shitballs!

The crib and mattress were delivered last week and are living in the closet for now! The dresser shows up tomorrow probably will chill in the garage until we move my desk and then the plan is to build it and put it in place.
I had my mom and a friend both tell me this weekend I am starting to look pregnant! yay! finally! only took 26 weeks/6 months! Now the annoyings at work will probably figure it out and start driving me crazy! Oh well I was hoping to make it to 3rd tri before they started, they will all be in shock when I tell them my due date! LOL!!
