Well I didn't need to worry what was going on with temping while on vaca. AF showed on Sunday after a 9 day LP and has been pretty bad with bad bad cramps. I spent Sunday night curled up in bed in pain even after 2 tylenol. Hoping tomorrow is less cramping and lighter.
Repeat SA is tomorrow too bad his appt isn't for another month. I need to reschedule mine for after his Uro appt so one more cycle on our own... :(

Went Wednesday morning for my blood work to recheck my thyroid and prolactin. I followed all the directions and went on my way to work. I was not expecting a call for a few days, so imagine my surprise when I saw Dr S's number show up on my phone around 4pm. I said to the chick how quickly she called and she said they aim to please or something like that and made me chuckle. Then she said that I was going to be sent for an MRI to check if I have a tumor on my pituitary gland but that it was nothing to worry about and was totally treatable by meds and that it would explain why my prolactin number was up at 37 (same as my last draw) I guess it is supposed to be under 15.

Today is MRI day, I have been pretty depressed and feel like crying for no reason all the time.
I called last week to reschedule my followup appt until after E's Uro appt, he goes Sept 24th and I go Sept 25th. I am hoping it will be early enough in my cycle to hopefully be able to do something and get this show on the road finally. I really hope she doesn't make us wait another cycle before doing anything.

It really isn't good to see Dr S's # so soon after having a test done. Jenni from Dr S's office called around noon with my MRI results. I knew they had found something otherwise they would not have called so soon.
They found a small mass (adenoma) on my pituitary glad. She said it is most likely nothing but I need to have more blood work done to see if it is producing hormones or not. Tomorrow I have to go have IGF-1 and cortisol checked, who knows what those test even tell. (and don't google it will scare the crap out of you or at least it did me)
The lovely Jenni is sending me paperwork on all of this I guess. In 4 weeks I need to have my prolactin checked again. She also called in a prescription for Cabergoline that I need to take 2x a week. That will be fun to try to remember! I will need to put stickers or something on the calendar.
FML, seriously this is getting crazy. They called E about his SA yesterday and he said that they told him it was pretty much the same as the last one. This is all so frustrating.
You try for so long for a baby NOT to happen and then when you want one you can't.
So many meds in the future now and so much other stuff going on it makes me question if it is even all worth it. But I know it will be.

Followup to testing...

I had the followup with Dr S yesterday and pretty much we are waiting on my repeat blood work to be done and for E to make his followup appt. She was actually quite frustrated that he hadn't made his appointment yet.
She went over my blood work, most I already knew, thyroid was slightly high so put on synthroid. Prolactin was high and is going to be retested after AF shows. The paperwork says CD3 but since I might be out of town she said that within the first 10 days of my cycle was okay.
She said that the synthroid might also help with it but if the number is still elevated that I will need to have a MRI done to check if I have a tumor on my Pituitary gland. (ummm don't just say the word tumor like it isn't a biggie...) She said it is completely treatable with meds. SO I need to do some googling about that! My progesterone was really low and that if an egg had gotten fertilized it wouldn't have survived it was so low. She questioned if I was even ovulating.
So I showed her my charts (yay for charting!!) She said that maybe I was most cycles but it wasn't lasting long and not producing enough progesterone. So I am probably looking at needing to take Clomid or Femara to help my ovulation and possibly progesterone to sustain things after O, along with the synthroid and hopefully nothing else because that is already a lot of stuff!
Then she moved on to the SA results and sighed. Asked if he had scheduled his reapeat SA yet and the appt with the Uro. I told her he hadn't uet and she asked why not and sounded frustrated but it. I said I would make sure he scheduled ASAP. The basics of his results is that he had an amazing number but had bad quality. Only 20% motility and 6% morphology, so only 6% were shaped correctly and could swim normally of the 84 million that were there and only 20% were swimming correctly. So we are also dealing with MFI.
She told me this was easily fixable in most cases, so fingers crossed on that one. She won't recommend next steps to me until he gets his test done and meets with the Uro and I get my blood work redone to see if things are straightening out. But most likely we are looking at Clomid or Femara and possibly IUI to get those swimmers where they need to go.
SIGH... so now we wait AGAIN. They said the Uro is booked out a ways so hopefully it isn't that far out.

So this morning FF gave me CHs and put me at 6dpo. That was a shock cuz I was thinking it was maybe yesterday except all OPKs were negative still. I am done using OPKs this month and just going to wait it out. I guess if it is right I will be able to get my CD3 blood work done before I go on vacation.

But good news E finally went for his blood work this week and called to schedule his SA and appt with the Uro. SA is Aug 24 and Uro is Sept 22 or something. but maybe this SA will be better and then we can skip the Uro? I need to change my followup to be after his Uro appt. I might wait until after he gets his results before I call and change. For now I just hope AF waits until after my girl trip with G.
