Well at least AF waited until today I guess?!
Onto cycle 18 and our first medicated cycle. Guess E needs to be filled in on the plan for this month since he may or not need to go in the morning of the IUI. (I know it probably sounds like I don't tell him anything but I do tell him, he is so forgetful and obviously I didn't know when this cycle would start!)
I start taking Femara on Friday for 5 days and on day 14 I go have an ultrasound and get triggered if everything looks good! IUI would be the next day.
Bur for now I am curled up with bad cramps and a heating pad watching it snow. I need to call and schedule my US, I am hoping and praying it only takes one, but from what I have read first IUIs are usually a bust.
I am glad I worked from home today with the snowstorm that is here now!! :)

Well cycle 18 IUI #1 is in the books (or in the vag :))
Days 3-7 i took Femara which gave me wicked headaches and hot flashes and made me crabby but oh well.
So day 14 (yesterday) I went for my monitoring US and she said my lining looked good, I had nothing on the left and one really big follie on the right. I forgot to ask for the measurements.
They gave me a shot of Ovidrel which triggers ovulation. I was pretty crampy all last night, so I assume I was ovulating?!
E went in at 750 to make his deposit! and at 920 I got there. Was taken back and verified that the sample was mine (his). Prewash motile 54mil, post wash 34 mil 70% motile, she said they look for anything over 10 mil so that was really good and better than presurgery!
I got to lay back and have the catheter put in and it all took less than 5 minutes. I got to lay in the darkened room for 10 minutes and I was on my way to work!
I have been crampy all day which they told me was normal. So 14 days from trigger i can test, but I am testing out my trigger shot so I saw my first EVER positive test today, it was so odd and I am hoping for one in 14 days!
